The Mt Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center takes the stage yet again. We break out the patio heaters to celebrate the end of a fun filled, holiday weekend. This year we welcome back the band Far Out West, with special guest Johnny Callahan.
Celebrating community progress, we offer up our space for free, to three local Not for Profit businesses each season. It isn't just donations that make the dream work.

New Monsoon is a staple of the SF Bay Area Jam scene and are veterans of the national touring circuit. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Great American Trainwreck was formed when former bandmates and lifelong friends got together to share their passion for rootsy Americana. Their music blends Americana, jamgrass, and southern rock. Lyric-driven songs combined with melodic riffs and heavenly harmonies help to define their progressive approach to traditional genres.

Tony Furtado plays with Matt Spencer on bass and Micah Kassell on drums
Tony is an evocative and soulful singer, a wide-ranging songwriter and a virtuoso multi-instrumental-ist adept on banjo, cello-banjo, slide guitar and baritone ukulele who mixes and matches sounds and styles with the flair of a master chef (he’s also an accomplished sculptor, but that’s another story). All of the music of America is in Tony’s music. Relix hit the nail on the head when writing of Tony: “True talent doesn’t need categories.
Boot Juice hails from the Hills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California. The band features electric and acoustic guitars, three vocalists, bass, drums, saxophone and trumpet. Inspired by the likes of The Band and Railroad Earth with an intensely energetic show reminiscent of Talking Heads, Boot Juice has been gaining buzz with their vibrant performances and party-sparking reputation. Shifting effortlessly between driving bluegrass and americana into cosmic rock’n’roll and swing. They deliver three part vocal harmonies and dynamic instrumental arrangements with a sultry dose of blues and soul. The collective effect leaves crowds little choice but to shake it down on the dance floor.
